Heartland Brewery is New York's first (and only) American-style brewpub, establishing itself as a destination for locals and visitors alike. This restaurant combines the rich character of a classic steakhouse with a casual, modern restaurant sensibility. In addition to a beer-friendly menu featuring Black Angus beef, you'll find a museum-caliber collection of pre-Prohibition beer artifacts, including sculptures, trays, and photographs. When Heartland first debuted in 1995, it was responsible for ushering in an all-new NYC passion for craft brews. Since then, Heartland has been consistently brewing New York's freshest beers, including its six year-round classics and a wide range of unique seasonal brews. All of Heartland's ales and lagers are brewed, fermented and conditioned at the company's Brooklyn facility. Centralizing the brewing operation has allowed Heartland to maintain rigorous quality controls while extending conditioning times to produce the best beer possible served at its peak of freshness. In addition to the extensive breakfast buffet, the regular lineup includes favorites from the grill, including Aged Black Angus sirloin or New York strip steak, filet mignon, rotisserie chicken and Farmer Jon's Ma's meatloaf. Among Heartland's other popular options are the St. Louis smoked ribs, ahi tuna salad, cod fish & chips, and free-range buffalo burger.
