Silas Dent's Steakhouse is a waterfront eatery, directly across from the gulf beaches, that is awash in a nautical theme. Inside, the quaint and cozy decor has leather booths, eccentric memorabilia, old photos, and a real toy train running around the ceiling-areas of the space. The moderately-priced menu is a mix of steaks, seafood, appetizers, salads, and chicken entrees, including dishes like grilled tuna, filet mignon, fried shrimp, lobster, and baby back ribs. A full bar is available, and drinks like the strawberry daiquiris are always a popular choice. Located along the Intracoastal Waterway, Silas Dent's has dock space for three boats right alongside an open-air bar and outdoor seating. Reservations are always suggested.
