The Kirby House has been a fixture in Grand Haven since 1873. It has been many things to many different people, but it has always been a community gathering place in the heart of downtown Grand Haven. The Kirby House hosts three unique restaurants with completely different dining styles. One of the most popular venues is The Kirby Grill which offers a casual dining experience, with an eclectic American menu. The menu has a large variety of choices from; "bar food" appetizers and sandwiches to Mediterranean style entrees. The focus is on great food made from only the finest and freshest ingredients. The menu mix, as well as the ambience is unique. The room has high ceilings, a big wooden bar and stunning black & red tiled floors that cry of art deco. The wall has French Posters advertising food and drink. Adding to the festive and fun atmosphere are the live sounds of blues, jazz, reggae and rock from bands that play weekly.
