Peak Week 2026: Climbing With Clarity in a Changing Media Landscape

Last week, 100 marketers from across the country came together in Denver for our fourth annual Peak Week—a few days dedicated to programmatic advertising, collaboration, and connection.

The agenda was packed, but the best part of Peak Week wasn’t any single session.

It was the people in the room.

We laughed. We listened. We challenged ideas. We swapped stories. We celebrated wins. And, perhaps most importantly, we rooted for one another.

That spirit was at the heart of this year’s theme: Climb With Clarity.

Over two days, Steph Geno, SVP of Data & Labs at Mogl, and Matt Fogarty, SVP of Sales at Mogl, served as our emcees, guiding attendees through the conversations, speakers, and experiences that made up the Peak Week journey.

Together, we explored where the industry is headed, what marketers need to navigate the road ahead, and how we can make that journey a little clearer when we take it together.

Because the media landscape isn’t getting simpler. There’s a lot to navigate.

Peak Week was about figuring it out together.

‍

‍

The Climb Begins

We kicked off Peak Week with our Base Camp Lunch, sponsored by Dstillery, giving everyone a chance to settle in, reconnect, and start the week with the conversations that would carry through the next two days.

Mogl Co-Founders Marty Skotnicki and Andrew Fischer opened the summit, taking us through our evolution over the past year and where we’re headed next. They reflected on how Mogl has grown from a programmatic reseller into a broader strategic consultant for the mid-market—expanding beyond programmatic to bring together Commerce, Data, and Labs, while continuing to grow our presence internationally.

It was a chance to look at how far we’ve come, but also at what we’re building toward: a Mogl that can help independent agencies and growth-focused brands navigate more of the modern media ecosystem, with the technology, data, and expertise to meet them wherever they are in their journey.

From there, Steph and Matt led us into the first of five strategic routes shaping the future of modern media.

‍

AI, Measurement & What Comes Next

Kevin Sinha, General Manager at The Trade Desk, opened our AI conversation with The AI-Powered Media Engine, followed by Mike Kirkeide, Director of Data & Strategy at Mogl, who demonstrated real-time AI optimization agents.

Brook Shepard, CEO of Mason Interactive, brought the client perspective, while Dstillery shared its approach to predictive targeting.

From there, Steph Geno led us into measurement, exploring the shift from attribution toward outcomes. Gavin Trippe and Grace Pietsch of P1 Commerce shared performance strategies, and Paul Boruta, Founder & CEO of Slingwave, joined us to announce a strategic partnership and measurement pilot focused on advanced incrementality reporting. Upwave rounded out the conversation with a partner perspective.

‍

Attention & Fandom

We closed the day with a conversation about attention. Ben Brown, Senior Director of Business Development at The Trade Desk, explored Why Attention Wins, while Mike Hood, SVP of Advertising & Partnerships at NBCUniversal, shared how brands can tap into the passion surrounding live sports.

Then we took the conversation offstage.

At Coors Field, we gathered for the Evening Ascent rooftop happy hour hosted by The Trade Desk. With the Rockies on the field and Denver around us, clients, partners, and friends kept the conversations going.

Day 2: Reaching New Heights

Former Colorado Rockies player Ryan Spilborghs kicked off Day 2 with a keynote on leadership, resilience, and execution—drawing on lessons from professional sports that resonated far beyond the field.

CTV, Streaming & the Modern Supply Chain

Dave Nemirov, VP of Client Services at Mogl, moderated CTV & Streaming's Next Chapter with Hiram Enriquez and Eliza Meizinger of Netflix, exploring the continued convergence of television, streaming, and digital.

Matt Fogarty, in addition to guiding us through the week as emcee, took the stage for Building a Modern Digital Supply Chain for the Mid-Market, looking at how marketers can navigate an increasingly complex ecosystem.

After a Datonics-sponsored Base Camp Lunch, we turned our attention to commerce.

‍

Commerce Beyond Retail Media

Carley Lucas and Peter Phillips introduced Mogl Commerce, showing how buyer intent and audience intelligence can extend beyond traditional retail media.

Kevin Weiss, VP of Commerce at Skai, shared his perspective on the evolution of retail media, while Kennan Walton of Competitive Edge brought the client perspective. Walmart joined us for a Partner Spotlight.

The takeaway: consumers don't think in channels. They watch, browse, discover, stream, and shop—and marketers need connected ways to understand those behaviors.

‍

From Conversation to Action

We wrapped the programming with interactive breakout sessions.

Finding Your Edge brought agency leaders together to talk about scaling beyond media execution, while our platform operators track featured workflow demonstrations from The Trade Desk and a panel with Mogl Pass partners Upwave, Dstillery, Magnite, and Datonics.

It was a chance to get out of presentation mode and into the work—to compare notes, share what's working, and learn from one another.

‍

‍

Celebrating Our Community

We ended the formal agenda by recognizing the people and partners who helped move our industry forward:

  • ‍Commerce Champion: Competitive Edge‍
  • Data Alchemist: P1 Commerce‍
  • Rising Mogl: Crisp‍
  • Mogl of the Year: Littlefield Agency

Congratulations to all of our winners—and thank you for everything you bring to the Mogl community!

‍

The Climb Continues

Before heading to the Summit Send-Off, we completed our Mogl Pass Experience trail maps with final stamps from our sponsors.

It was a fitting close to a week built around a simple idea: the path forward is clearer when we climb it together.

We're grateful to every client, partner, speaker, sponsor, and friend who made Peak Week 2026 what it was.

Thank you to our 2026 Peak Week Sponsors!
